Batman: The Killing Joke is No Joke at the Box Office
Controversy creates cash.
Despite mixed reviews and a budget of $3.5 million, Batman: The Killing Joke appears to be on pace to be a successful release for DC Animation with a box office haul of $3.6 million via the film’s release via Fathom Events.
The old adage goes that there’s no such thing as bad press, so I’m sure all of the turmoil surrounding Batgirl, and whatnot probably caused fans to show up in fervor. And the aforementioned box office receipts is money made before the digital home release which came out yesterday, and the home release coming in a couple of weeks via Warner Home Video.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
