Shorts Review: RWBY Chibi Episode 7

Once again, another slightly long one due to a random ad to a convention that RoosterTeeth announced they’d be appearing at (3 mins and 11 seconds this time.)

“Jaune Experiments”

The longest skit in this Episode begins when Team JNPR (Juniper) decides to go out for practice but Jaune says he’ll catch up while quietly feeling like his weapon is puny compared to the rest of his team who have more intricate & powerful weapons in contrast.

As they leave Jaune notices Team RWBY’s dorm with all their signature weapons left behind and proceed’s to take them thinking “It’s not like they’re using them.”

The episode later comes back to this Skit at the end as Jaune begins to gleefully practice with Team RWBY’s weapons within their Dorm and without their permission.

As he’s dancing around while waving his ass with Weiss’s sword in his hand. As he turns around and this happens…

I’ll admit, I collapsed in laughter at this. 😛

“Prank Wars”

Weiss has a bucket of water fall on her head and with a look of anger & disdain towards the laughter of her peers within Team RWBY.

It randomly cuts to the next day and Weiss ends up topping that bucket prank in the worst way possible using her powers to freeze the bucket of ice thereby giving Ruby a massive head-injury.

Yang & Blake look at Ruby with concern while Weiss revels in her petty victory.

How can Weiss be inconsiderate of Ruby’s well being? You’d think she would know that having water dumped over you is not the same as a heavy object falling on your cranium.

“Arcade Games”

It opens at an Arcade in a Carnival with random posters of some Remnant-themed games like “Whack-A-Grimm” and a standard shooting gallery. 😛

Out of nowhere the nameless old “Shopkeeper” (Who’s in nearly every fucking store within RWBY.) kicks them out for reasons we don’t know but throw’s out Yang, Nora and Ren. But given the random chaotic nature of Nora we’re left to assume it’s something she did because she brought her weapons. 😛

 

She says to the building “Excuse me” and they throw a large teddybear prize at her we’re left to assume she won and she says to them “Thank you!”

 

If there’s any major complaints it’s that Jen Brown and Neath Oum are under-utilized in their performances as Phyrra & Ren Respectively. It’s like they’re just in the background and neither one of them says a single line.
