Review: Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu “Public Enemy Number One”

Yeah you wanna go out ’cause it’s raining and blowing, You can’t go out ’cause your roots are showing, Dye em black…Black number one.

Spoilers Below

The Ninja are said to be the Public Enemy Number One after being framed for a crime that they didn’t commit. Ronin comes in as a bounty hunter and swears to catch all the Ninja to get a ‘Clean Slate’, meaning that all of the crimes he did, were never done. Meanwhile, Misako is captured by Nadakhan the Djinn whom is probably the one responsible for The Ninja’s crimes. The Ninja decide to split up to find Misako so the Police won’t find them.  Zane gets into a confrontation with Ronin whereby eventually he & Lloyd get captured. Kai and Nya are duped by a fake S.O.S. alert from Zane and are also snatched up. Finally, Jay and Cole go to a theme park and get trapped which allows Nadakhan to steal the Realm Crystal from the Labyrinth & gets Ronin the clean slate he desires.

Our Take

The best part about this show used to be the opening theme song, but I guess we changed it. Really this episode is important because the ninjas are captured and it sets the tables for the Djinn to get all the power he needs to launch an all out offensive. I gets the feeling that Ronin’s a wild card and could turn up as a hero down the road.
