Comics Review: Bob’s Burgers Ongoing #12
A dozen issues released, Ongoing keeps getting better.
This month’s issue of Bob’s Burgers Ongoing may be the best one yet. Tina’s take on Top Gun is the stuff dreams are made of. I was totally engrossed into the story and though the jet fighter scenes were excellent. Is it a bit more romantic comedy than the real movie? Sure, but this one’s written by “Tina”. Very seldom do they end different, the fun is the journey there and that was the case here.
Louise in ‘The Makeup’ is the best looking comic strip I’ve seen all year. Artist: T.G. Hopkins should be commended at providing the most breath-taking aesthetic ever presented for the Bob’s Burgers franchise. Seriously, there should be a whole episode that looks just like this strip.
Gene’s Rhymes are always my least favorite, and that holds true even more so this week because Gene was hand-drawn to look like Rosie O’Donnell.
Overall, Bob’s Burgers Ongoing is an excellent buy, and should be picked up today.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
