Review: The Simpsons – “To Courier With Love”
Spoilers Below
While cleaning out the garage, Homer finds an antique car. Jay Leno happens upon the car and buys it for a large sum of money. With his new-found wealth, Homer promises to take Marge on a dream vacation. As Marge debates where she wants to go, Leno asks for his money back. But, since the car wasn’t actually registered to Homer, he can’t give the car back. So now Homer is moneyless and carless. And now Marge wants to go to Paris.
In order to keep his promise to his wife, Homer agrees to be a courier for the mob. All he has to do is take a briefcase to Paris without looking inside and his trip will be free. Unfortunately, curiosity gets the better of him and he looks inside the case. Inside is a rare blue snake, which Lisa accidentally sees. In Paris, Homer finds out that the mob plans on turning the snake into a belt. Lisa and Homer can’t let this happen so they steal the snake. The bad guys chase them all over Paris, attempting to retrieve the snake. They never really catch the Simpsons. I guess they have a rare snake now?
I’m not sure how I feel about this episode. While it wasn’t completely boring, it wasn’t particularly interesting either. It just was. It is seriously time for the Simpsons to go.

There's got to be some kind of twist that's going to happen with this. I don't know if they're setting up an April Fool's joke now or what's going on, but it seems too strange that they'd suddenly reverse on doing a fourth and fifth season after the show was already renewed and they were even just talking about working on those seasons like a couple months ago or something. Or maybe the two episodes yet to release will secretly somehow each be like a "season" in themselves?
