Ratings Are In 5/11/16: Will FOX Toons finish strong?
Let’s get the numbas…
There’s only a couple of weeks left of FOX original animated comedies, and the numbers seem to be doing OK as we get to the end. Here’s what Deadline.com had to say:
Fox comedies Bordertown (0.4, 1.1M) and The Simpsons (0.6, 1.4M) clocked a collective 0.5 demo rating and 1.2M viewers for the network . Fox’s The Simpsons original (1.1, 2.4M) and Bob’s Burgers original (1.0, 2.3M) logged a joint 1.0 and 2.4M viewers. Coming much closer to the CBS drama’s (The Good Wife) bow-out, in the demo was Fox comedy Family Guy (1.3, 2.8M).
We’re supposed to find out any day now the futures of Family Guy and Bordertown, with the former expected to be renewed while the latter is in effect, not. We might even have answers to these questions before the end of the week so stay tuned.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
