‘Legends of Chamberlain Heights’ (Confirmed) and ‘Camp WWE’ (Strong Rumor) getting picked up for second seasons

Comedy Central and WWE Network are acting fast!

So yea, some good news for Comedy Central’s soon-to-be premiering animated series Legends of Chamberlain Heights. The Bento Box-produced series has officially begun production on a SECOND SEASON according to the official Facebook stage for the studio. This is great news, hell, Moonbeam City didn’t get shit and we had to wait the whole first season to find out that the network wasn’t bringing that one back. Legends of Chamberlain Heights is getting a second season before the first even premieres an episode! Network brass must’ve had a chance to check out a few episodes and came away impressed. Either way, looking forward to it, and we also know that the first episode is entitled ‘The G-Word”.

“Legends of Chamberlain Heights” is an urban animated series mixing raucous comedy and social commentary that centers on three high school freshman: Jamal, Grover, and Milk(Hawking voices Jamal and Johnson voices Grover and Milk). The three friends tackle life with some wins and some losses, but failure doesn’t faze them since they’re legends…even if it’s just in their own minds.

In other pick-up news, Camp WWE is rumored to be getting a second season pickup. The five episode first season is set to end in a couple weeks, so fans of the freshman series could be hearing news soon.

Imagine WWE Superstars, Legends and Divas when they were kids at their favorite summer camp… owned by none other than Mr. McMahon! This all-new, in-your-face, adult animated comedy series will show fans a side of the WWE they have never seen before. In partnership with Seth Green’s Stoopid Buddy Stoodios, Camp WWE will be available exclusively in the WWE Network video-on-demand library.
