Phew! If you like a LOT of reading, and I mean a LOT of reading, this month’s issue of Rick and Morty is just for you. It’s just one story that at the end of the day is reusing a tired trope that is an alternate timeline from Rick, but boy do the writers make you work through it to get to that ending. I mean, I’ve never seen Speech Bubbles THAT wide and filled with reading anywhere and I’ve been reading comics for a real long time.
There were some good ideas to be had. Morty becoming a ruler of a civilization and getting any pleasure he desires or the fact that an entire argument ensued over a toaster. Good stuff, but man…pack a lunch for this read, you’re gonna need it. Hope you aren’t a fan of pictures.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
