Review: Wander Over Yonder “The Party Poopers”

Sylvia and Wander head to a party where the beings have silly faces but they’ve gotta keep it together to gain secrets to Dominator’s weaknesses by presenting to the “High Knees Council”. Wander is nearly on the verge of laughing out loud while ‘The Butler’ features food that references the way this guy looks…a huge butt. After a while, Wander decides to get serious so as to take down Dominator once and for all, but then it’s Sylvia that just cracks up like crazy. Turns out, the “High Knees Council” have a good sense of humor, and the advice they get for any dire situation is pretty much standard.

Our Take

This week’s episode was funny, but we couldn’t even see the faces of the people we were laughing at which makes me wonder if that was a Disney choice or a producer choice. The ending stunk too as I was really looking forward to learning about a potential weakness for Dominator, but it was really just a giggle fest. It would’ve been nice to hear if the most dangerous villain in the galaxy has a weak spot, but we got a fart joke which will have to do.
