Ratings Are In 4/11/16: FOX toons up a tick
The ratings are in, and it looks like that despite the MTV Movie Awards appearing on a bunch of networks last night, FOX toons actually went up a tick in the ratings. Bordertown is still depressing, but everyone else looks on part with even Bob’s Burgers closing in on Simpsons numbers. Here’s what Variety had to say:
Fox remained low kicking off the night with “Bordertown” (0.5/2 in 18-49, 1.2 million viewers overall) but was up a tick from last week. The rest of the night was up too, with “The Simpsons” (1.1/4 in 18-49, 2.5 million viewers overall) and “Bob’s Burgers” (1.1/4 in 18-49, 2.3 million viewers overall) also rising by a tenth. And in the 9 o’clock hour, where “The Walking Dead” has been dominating in recent weeks, a repeat “Family Guy” (1.2/4 in 18-49, 2.5 million viewers overall) was up 0.3 over last week’s “Bob’s Burgers” original.
Next week we get a Simpsons rerun but for the first time in a while we get a brand-new episode of Family Guy, so it’ll be interesting to see how the numbers shape up next week.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
