Wander Over Yonder Not Getting a Third Season

Ditto with Gravity Falls, Wander Over Yonder’s second season will be its last on Disney XD as per a new Tumblr post via show creator Craig McCracken.

Long story short, Craig pitched a third season and at first Disney XD wanted in, but higher ups at Disney were fine with 80 episodes and two seasons. Seven more episodes are on the way for this season with the series finale coming in June.

To be perfectly honest, I’m not a huge fan of this season’s arc. It started out strong, but now all of the Lord Hater episodes play like a broken record. I’m looking forward to seeing what McCracken has in the future.
