Review: We Bare Bears “Charlie Ball”
Spoilers Below
The bears are playing basketball when Panda hurts his arm. Needing a fill-in, Ice Bear and Grizz recruit Charlie to help out. Turns out, this dude’s a natural, and as such, wipes the floor with anyone that hits the court. It isn’t long before Charlie gets a big ego causing Grizz to throw him off the team in favor of his recently-healed Panda. Because of the cut, Charlie joins a rival team and ends up fouling Panda which causes the bear to re-injure his arm. As the game goes on, Charlie loses his disguise anyway and runs off before anyone can see who he really is. Fortunately, the bears protect Charlie’s identity and both sides are good.
Our Take
Why are the Cleveland Cavaliers the featured team tonight for both Teen Titans Go! and We Bare Bears? Did Cartoon Network NOT watch the beat down that my Celtics gave the defending East Champs last week? In any event, I was thrilled to get some We Bare Bears and even more so as we saw a promo for season two kicking off in a couple of weeks.
As for the episode, I love basketball, so I’m going to be biased a bit here, but the show happens to be hilarious, too. That said, next time, let’s throw in some Green into the mix, cheers?
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
