Review: The Fairly OddParents “Girly Squirrely”

Chloe joins up with the Squirrely Scouts after making a wish that allows girls to join the once boy-exclusive group. The kids spend the afternoon being judged by a Kodiak bear all the while chasing after various badges. Most of the activities have been a disaster, most notably climbing scary mountains, white water rafting, and even tying knots. It seems as though no matter what, these kids can’t cut it, but Chloe doesn’t want to quit. Due to her perseverance, she eventually lands the group badges for bravery for saving s’mores from a forest monster.

Our Take

While not a terrible episode of The Fairly OddParents, I felt that the series kind of reran a premise we’ve seen countless times. And yea, there were some funny moments, like Timmy’s dad obsessing over treats, and the fairies being bear snot, but overall the meat potatoes have been served countless times, and I was hoping with fairies being the main ingredient that makes this show run, we would’ve had a bit more of a crazy time.
