Review: Spongebob Squarepants “Spongebob LongPants; Larry’s Gym”
Spongebob LongPants
Spongebob tries on some long pants and right away he feels more like a man…so much so he quits the Krusty Krab. It isn’t long before Spongebob gets a new job at a much fancier restaurant. His new name? Sponge Robert. Sponge Robert doesn’t get to go to parties with cake or watch good movies with his friends. Soon, Spongebob decides to get his old pants back after help from Krusty Krab and even decides to get his old job back.
Our Take
Your classic premise featuring a normally blue-collar character getting a white collar face lift only to realize that lifestyle isn’t for him. We’ve seen this a few times, but with Spongebob’s reactions one can’t help but giggle. If you are looking for an entirely original work, meh, but it gets the job done.

Larry’s Gym
Larry opens a new gym and everyone’s invited so why doesn’t Spongebob give it a shot? After a lot of hard work, Spongbob gets huge, and due to the lack of movement involved in doing paper work, Larry’s getting a bulge. After a while, Spongebob grows bored of his look, so Larry helps him by giving him a bro hug which squeezes out excess water and causes Spongebob to shrink. Larry learns Spongebob’s methods of working out, and loses all his fat weight.
Our Take
Again, not an entirely original premise. We’ve seen a bunch of people go to the gym, only not to like it…Marge on The Simpsons immediately comes to mind, but I liked seeing Larry after a while, and I think with the way Spongebob gained all his way was a nice twist at the end.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
