Review: Harvey Beaks “Yeti Ready”
Spoilers Below
Rooter talks up a legend about a local yeti and Irving starts to freak out that he is unable to protect his family. Mrs. Beaks isn’t putting up with the boys’ shit today, so it’s just the guys fortifying the house from fake monsters. Not thinking they’ve made their house safe, Harvey and Irving take the baby and go on over to Rooter’s house to learn ways to survive a yeti attack while Fee and Foo watch over the place. Rooter’s dad Mitch is the guy to turn to in making your house strong against yetis, and agrees to teach the Beaks his ways. But, are the warthogs just being nuts? It seems that way, especially when Miriam gets caught in one of their traps convincing the family that she may in fact be a shape-shifting yeti. Fortunately, Irving is able to make a few saves, but Harvey eventually captures everyone in yeti traps and threatens to destroy all. Harvey comes to, the warthog-yetis move into the forest, and the Beaks make the save on Miriam.
Our Take
This was certainly one of the weaker episodes of Harvey Beaks. Quite frankly, we’ve seen tons of premises involving yetis and bigfoots, and what not, as a matter of fact The Fairly OddParents had a Bigfoot-like yarn in their episode just prior to this And while I enjoyed Rooter’s family, and their advanced line of weaponry even more, this week’s episode just didn’t quite have the magic that prior episodes of Harvey Beaks have had.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
