Review: The Fairly OddParents “Whittle Me This”
Spoilers Below
Chloe and Timmy head to Catman’s party and for some reason Catman thinks Chloe is his old sidekick Catgirl. All this because Catman thinks Timmy has been kidnapped by ‘The Whittler’, despite the fact that that isn’t the case at all. Filthy Richman joins Catman on his adventure all the while ‘The Whittler’ keeps leaving clues. To deal with the possible magical elements involved in Timmy’s abduction, we’re joined by the Falcon.
Eventually, ‘The Whittler’ is found to be just Cosmo trying to make an anniversary present for Wanda and Timmy was saved.
Our Take
I think the 12-minute run-times work better for this show than the 30-minute ones because when the frenetic pace of the show slows down, the gags and jokes aren’t strong enough to keep the show afloat. Fortunately, that’s what we got this week and what better way to kick off the normal run time episodes than with a guest appearance from Adam West as Catman? I think it’s going to be a lot of fun following Chloe’s journey into learning how to deal with silly characters and magic, and I’m on board.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
