Review: Harvey Beaks “The Storm”
Spoilers Below
We’ve got a storm going nuts and Harvey thinks it’s high time for Fee and Foo to live with him and be safe. Unfortunately, the duo aren’t meant to be kept indoors and eventually the siblings leave in protest of having to be asleep at a certain time. Harvey tracks down the two deep in the woods, and while Fee and Foo call the outdoors their home, the two sides agree that when it’s stormy outside, the house is where to be…with apple cider.
Our Take
It’s pretty incredible what the producers of Harvey Beaks can do with 12 minutes. Songs about apple cider, phenomenally directed chase scenes through the woods that could make anybody in this industry blush with envy, and a kid who loves his friends so much he fears for his safety. In this day and age of everyone out for themselves, Harvey Beaks’ adventures against a Van Gogh-inspired back drop makes this the best animated series on Nickelodeon.
