Netflix readying Russian Launch

According to THR, Netflix is getting ready to launch in Russia as early as this month. The report said it will initially be offered in the country on smart TV sets.

Last year, Netflix launched in such markets as Japan, Australia, Spain and Italy. For early 2016, it has so far announced launches in South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong and Taiwan.

With the limited release, and with the selection of content bound to be minimalist at best, expect a grand total of 12 people to sign up for Netflix in Russia.
