Seth MacFarlane says ‘Family Guy’ movie coming…”soon”
Seth MacFarlane has been all over the country supporting his music career, certainly putting movies and whatnot on the back burner. But when asked recently by a fan when we can expect to see a Family Guy movie, the franchise creator had this to say:
RT @GingeThink: @SethMacFarlane when are you going to stop fannying around and actually do a Family Guy movie? ?? // Soon. Soon.

Now, I wouldn’t exactly hold your breath just yet, but this certainly is a positive sign that the Family Guy movie has NOT been forgotten, and sounds like its alive and well. Seth really hasn’t announced any directorial future efforts since Ted 2 released, but Ted 3 has also been rumored to happen though I wouldn’t be surprised if that happened AFTER a Family Guy movie.
Seth does have ONE new project on the way, that being his executive produced series Bordertown which is set to premiere next month, and believe you and me, this show is really, really good. American Dad! is also due to return on TBS next month, but we don’t have a return date just yet.
In the meantime, Family Guy is still on TV, and a new episode airs this Sunday Night on FOX @ 9 pm ET/PT, check your local listings.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
