Review: SuperMansion “Lexanity”
Spoilers Below
Billionaire defense contractor Ivan Whiff tries to lure Lex away from the League as Lex struggles to become an official member of her dad’s organization. Her dad isn’t thrilled with the notion, but that could also be because Jewbot lost a finger up his ass and now he’s gotta walk around with it. Black Saturn is trying to join Whiff’s team but he wants nothing to do with Lex’s dude.
Rex shows up and fights Whiff, but it doesn’t matter because Lex joins the team. Saturn doesn’t get an invite, and I’m not even sure Rex wants him. Agony shows up to Whiff’s building and we find out that this was a plan all along to get Lex off of her father’s team just to fuck him. On the day of Lex’s induction, she kicks the shit out of Whiff and Agony realizes he screwed up. As a result, Rex invites his daughter to join the team, but we come to find out a terrible secret.
Meanwhile, Jewbot is a doctor and administers routine physicals for the League, causing Ranger to disavow modern medicine but his wife is making him jerk off into a cup so that they can have kids, and Brad to discover he may be allergic to Cooch via his penis. Brad ends up not having long to live and Ranger has to have his appendix removed. We soon find out that Brad was just allergic to some cream, and Ranger swears by science after his operation.
Our Take
This week’s episode is worth it. It’s worth waiting til the end as everything you have known about this show the last several weeks just got turned inside out and upside down thanks to the last 45 seconds.
Along the way, we had a lot of laughs this week. Rex with a finger up his ass was great because you never knew when THAT was going to strike, and Jewbot’s arguments with Ranger is the funniest thing Ranger has been a part of all season. I didn’t care about Brad and Cooch to fully invest in whatever they were doing, but Nat Faxon was awesome as Whiff as he played a perfect 180 degree mirror image of Rex. Black Saturn was hilarious, too, but now I HAVE to watch the finale, because I want to see the repercussions of the final act along with his involvement. Did Saturn know something was up? It will be interesting to find out.
What I have loved most about SuperMansion, is that clearly Zeb Wells has been fucking with us this entire time. I firmly believe that he is using all of the excellent powers that he had in working at Marvel (Carnage isn’t the same without him) and he is weaving a conclusion that’s gonna fuck with us for a while. Anyone wondering why Zeb isn’t working on Robot Chicken this season, I have a feeling the finale will showcase a few reasons why.
SCORE
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
