Review: Regular Show “Hello China”
Spoilers Below
Rigby sneaks on a plane featuring Benson going to China to teach a class. Turns out Rigby needs to learn a foreign language in order to pass a class. When Benson finds out he freaks but agrees to let Rigby learn English as a foreign language.
Rigby seems to fit right in with the locals all the while teaching them about American culture. Benson isn’t exactly thrilled that the spotlight is off of him so of course he gets annoyed after a while. The two have an argument over it, but on the day of their English performance, Rigby and Class Seven kicks ass and make Benson look like a star. Benson gets a free ticket home while Rigby gets a passing grade and earns his credits back home.
Our Take
In the first of a four night premieres, Regular Show kicks off with a Chinese bang. The series continues to walk down the bunny trail of Rigby’s schoolin’ and I’m loving every second of it. The best part of the episode was when Benson’s jaw drops during the performance. Seriously, pause…then laugh. The episode was rather hilarious, and hearing explanations on what “Eggscelent” means and watching Benson try and figure out authentic Chinese food is a trip. These guys think of everything…
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
