Review: Long Live the Royals “Snore Much”

Queen Eleanor has a snoring problem that keeps everyone in the kingdom awake, but she’s a bit sensitive about it. A rival kingdom visits so as to try and smooth over any previous bad blood over Rufus’ misunderstanding, but the snoring issues nearly ruin everything. Fortunately, Queen comes clean and a peace is made, however we never find out if she plans to do anything to help remedy the situation.

Our Take

When an episode surrounding Wendi McLendon-Covey as the star is on the schedule, you pay attention. Wendi is one of the funniest comediennes on Earth. Unfortunately, I’m not quite sure Wendi shines through as the comedic star here, leaving her costars to do the dirty work mostly, including guest star Alfred Molina. Fortunately, the kids were pretty funny tonight, and Rufus’ insults are hilarious. But, I really thought we could have challenged Wendi a little more on an episode that is all about her.
