Not sure how Rotoscoping works? The Simpsons help in this couch gag
A couple of weeks back, Adult Swim announced the pickup of a new series called Dream Corp LLC that will be rotoscope/live hybrid and you would be surprised about how many emails I’ve gotten from people who quite simply had no idea what entails in the rotoscope-style. Some people may be surprised to learn that this style of animation is one of the oldest out there, with even Star Wars: The New Hope employing some of these techniques.
Fortunately, The Simpsons is here to help because on this Sunday Night’s episode entitled “Barthood”, the opening couch gag does a great job of experimenting despite what Lisa thinks.
In this Sunday Night’s episode, the story of Bart’s life from 6 years old to his time as a young man reveals that Lisa’s achievements and his relationship with Homer have shaped him more than he realized. The Simpsons is all-new this Sunday Night @ 8 pm ET/PT, check your local listings.
