BUBBLE CAN Review: Night Sweats ” Milk Fountain”

78085-young-justice-young-justiceOn an all new Night Sweats, Chris and Bart want to sell you their new Milk Fountain. More episodes of Crack Duck, World Doctors, Executioner & Friend, and Don’t Feed the Humans.

The live action segments of this episode were strange, but if you’re familiar with the show than this is probably something you’ve come to expect. Chris and Bart are trying to kick start their new Milk Fountain idea. Throughout the episode they show us just how amazing this fountain can be.

In the first animated segment, Crack Duck has reached a breaking point. Living a lonely life has pushed him over the edge. It wasn’t just the boiling point for Crack Duck though. His landlord finally decides to confess his love for Crack Duck. It’s a progression in the story I never actually thought we would see. I sort of compared it to Smithers and Mr.Burns. It was a pleasant surprise. Nothing abnormal happened in this episode, which is strange, but it instead focused hard on the development of the characters.

World Doctors was pretty awesome this week. The guys get a new rectal scanner, but instead use it to play some video games. What’s neat about this short is that they decide to play real life video games. The pop culture references blended well with the comedy of World Doctors.

Executioner & Friend was a little disappointing this week. After tampering wit a relic, Executioner has his penis shrunk. What ensues is a quest to return his unit to normal. It wasn’t a very interesting story to watch. The jokes were really only about penises. It felt like one note of the episode, and the rest never really chimed in.

Don’t Feed the Humans also disappointed. The Humans are boring the zoo audience, so Horf needs to find a way to get people interested in the humans. More merchandise, and turning them into a circus. The only entertainment value is seeing the characters to circus acts. The dialogue wasn’t engaging. It felt spread a little thin.

Overall, this was a pretty decent episode. The shorts were good for the most part, the live action segments were fun. Another good outing for Night Sweats.
