Review: Sanjay and Craig “Heartyface”

Craig thinks he is a celebrity because he’s got “hearts”, but there’s more to be done to assure that he’s the most popular pet. Booger the rat is the most popular of all the pets, and Craig can’t stand the fact that this little fucker is so popular. Even Sanjay decides to jump off of the Craig bandwagon and like Booger’s profile! This causes Craig to freak out and leave for good leaving Sanjay to hold a town wide search for his buddy. Our Take

The premise of being the most liked and what not is rather old at this juncture. But, there was still a decent amount to like in this week’s episode. For starters, Craig’s photo shoot was comical, and watching the town’s obsession over a rat and then a snake means people in this universe are easily influenced by small pets. But again, social apps and Youtube-esque story lines are old hat at this juncture and don’t last long, because in a few years no one’s going to give a shit about the current crop of social networks and Chris Hardwick is going to have to find something else to do besides @midnight.
