Review: Pickle and Peanut “Pigfoot / Tae Kwon Bro”
Spoilers Below
“Pigfoot
Pickle and Peanut have tons of fun with a monster Pigfoot, when some asshole hunter comes by and tranqs it so as to eventually make it a prized head. Together with McSweats, Pickle and Peanut are able to make the save on Pigfoot as he unleashes, what I’m assuming, is immense amounts of pain and violence.
Our Take
I came to the conclusion that Pickle and Peanut is Disney XD’s closest take on Beavis and Butthead. That said, as cool as Pigfoot was, I was kinda bored this go round. I didn’t find very many of the scenes all that interesting save for maybe the paintball match up and maybe the interaction with the hunter. Other than that, everything else seemed like rather standard fare.

Tae Kwon Bro”
Pickle wants to learn karate, so he joins a dojo ran by Sensei Laser. Peanut really doesn’t want to join, but he does in support of his friend. Eventually, it becomes obvious to both Peanut and the rest of the world that this dojo is bull shit, so Peanut gets kicked out. As revenge, Peanut lets loose a bunch of murdering goats that terrorize the dojo, and show to everyone involved that Laser is in fact an asshole. When the goats get out of control, Pickle and Peanut return as trash fighters and clean up the joint.
Our Take
THIS is more like it. Murdering goat rampages? And how about that Boss Goat?? I’ll take that seven days a week. As compared to the first episode, the second go round showcased a bit more of the weird ingredients that I really love in this show. Karate has been done a bunch, but because of the murdering goats, this becomes a Pickle and Peanut episode for sure.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
