Ratings Are In 11/25/15: Charlie Brown owns All
I didn’t even think the Thanksgiving edition of Charlie Brown holiday specials was the “go-to” of all the holiday specials, but still, The Voice, The Muppets, even a Dancing with the Stars clip show couldn’t match the 50 year old special according to a new report from Deadline.com:
A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving (2.2/8) special was actually up 16% over the DWTS clip show that played before the Season 19 finale. The Voice took a 19% hit in the demo up against the Charlie Brown special instead of the usual ABC 8 PM line-up ofThe Muppets and Fresh Off The Boat.
On Monday Night, ABC will be doing a special in celebration of 50 years of A Charlie Brown Christmas, and it will be an hour-long musical lead-in to A Charlie Brown Christmas at 9 pm. It will be interesting to see what those numbers come back as.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
