Comics Review: The Simpsons Winter Wingding #10
Of all the comics to come out during this time of year, this is usually my most anticipated and this issue didn’t disappoint. RIGHT off the bat we get a Die-Hard parody with Homer trying to escape Ned’s charitable activities and it was hilarious. The producers hit a lot of good points from the film that made Bruce Willis famous including going through the motions without any shoes, and yes the ‘Now I know what a TV dinner feels like” scene.
This issue we also got the long-awaited return of Mr. Plow whom teams up with Wiggum to solve a bunch of crimes around town during a heavy snow storm. Apu, the retirement home, and a bunch of other cases come up, and these two usually end up eating SOMETHING in every one of them.
I wasn’t crazy about the camping bit, but I loved the Sideshow Bob cameo as I felt that was like a nice stocking stuffer. Great issue, and definitely worth the pick up.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
