Review: Pig Goat Banana Cricket “DJ Wheelbarrow Full of Nachos”
Spoilers Below
There’s a contest to win tickets to go and see a popular DJ. Goat enters and wins, but then we see Pig take off to go stand in line for a pickle. Because of a riot that breaks out at the store, the President shows up and bans the city from eating Pickles. Pig finds some pickle seeds and soon begins raising a farm of pickles that then creates an underground of pickle distribution for the city. A chase ensues with the President discovering Pig’s operations.
Cricket comes across an old experiment that is all grown up and is calling Cricket its father. The petri-dish snot ends up being a lot of trouble as it lets out a huge monster that Cricket has to thwart long enough to go back to what he was doing.
Banana wants to sue Ranger Rhino after the big bastard eats his video game, so he takes him to court, but ends up lying in front of the judge. No matter, Banana gets his game back after he discovers the REAL bad guy. Banana gets his game back and decides to go to the DJ gig with Ranger Rhino.
Goat heads to the concert, but her sister tags along and begins embarrassing her all over the club. Eventually, Goat hides in the wheelbarrow filled with nachos, and ends up eating the entire lot. At first she’s booed, but her sister comes to her aid and helps pray to the nacho angels for more nachos. Meanwhile, the President shows up chasing Pig all over the place, but has a heart attack. As a result, Pig and Cricket perform open-heart surgery RIGHT on the fucking stage, using a pickle as a new heart.
Our Take
I love nachos so points for that. Also, points for the Justin Roiland guest spot that came out of nowhere. But, really, everybody’s bits were pretty good tonight, and I liked how they jammed at the end. My favorite part of the show is the Looney Tunes-like sensibilities with Goat turning into a toilet, and her sister a roll of toilet paper, and what about when Pig is constantly trying to hide from the President. How the producers of this show were able to get open-heart surgery right in front is pretty remarkable, and later on I’ll try and pray to the nacho angels to see if that shit really works.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
