Spoilers Below

Fred’s friend Chuck is missing in a scary cave in habited by some sort of ancient warrior, so they gotta run around whilst narrowly missing booby traps and this masked and speared fella who keeps yelling constant echoes. A montage-chase scene ensues until we get to the end of the cave and with the warrior snared we find out that Chuck pretty much framed his own deal, and was just using Fred to find treasure. That treasure? A chicken.

Our Take

Hell yea, John Viener shows up in the show! Considering Moncrief worked on both Family Guy and Phineas and Ferb, it’s not a complete surprise that Viener would get the call up, but I’m just super stoked that he did. Kinda wish we had a better episode because the ending was rather obvious. Still though, the ancient warrior was one of the most intense villains that I could remember ever seeing associated with Scooby Doo. We’re talking NEAR misses with that spear.
