Ratings Are In 10/21/15: Charlie Brown still gets more viewers than you do
Whoever signed the deal to make the Peanuts movie must be dancing in their boots right now. That’s because Variety is reporting that almost six million viewers watched “It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown” last night on ABC with Toy Story of Terror following with only a marginal drop off of 5 million viewers.
It’s just absolutely astonishing that an animated movie made 50 years ago is still doing this well. And that’s not taking anything away from the movie, the movie is an animated classic. But, you don’t see Gone with the Wind in prime-time network TV bringing in viewers like this do you? I don’t.
Granted, neither holiday specials won out the night, but who cares? Hopefully ABC used this time wisely to really push The Muppets which has been dropping in viewership every week since it has premiered.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
