Blu-Ray Review: South Park Season 18
South Park reclaims its crown as best home release after the producers of Robot Chicken have stopped putting out Blu-Ray releases in place of just DVDs that are becoming less and less impressive in terms of special features. South Park, on the other hand, has always been strong on home releases and this release was no different.
You can read our review of the entire season here, but more than just all of the episodes included on the release are social commentaries, additional mini-commentaries from producers Matt Stone and Trey Parker for EVERY episode, and a bevy of deleted scenes that should keep you busy for a while.
I would have liked to have seen social commentaries or any commentaries on the deleted scenes i.e. why were they cut, etc, but overall the show’s 18th season is one of its finest and this home release is too.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
