Hot Heads

Sanjay, Craig, Hector, and Megan are getting excited for the first swim of summer, but they want to make the cooling experience extra special. To do this, each decide to reach their heat nirvana. Hector gets his by slathering himself up in butter and going inside Meg’s iron fort. Meg gets her’s by going to Frycade and eating an illegal wing sauce. But what about Sanjay and Craig? The two meet up with the Dixons whom take the guys underground and perform some sort of chant which seems to work, but only for a bit because our titular heroes end up in the gross Dixons pool. The two get SO pissed off, that they reach their heat nirvanas, and cause a flooding of Dixon sweat all the way down to the lake, thereby ruining everybody else’s swim.

Our Take

I don’t know if I’m just hazy, or if it’s true, but Sanjay and Craig’s entire presentation seems quite a bit updated. The coloring on the show seems to pop quite a bit more than prior episodes, and our close up shots of the characters during the ‘heat nirvanas’ looked excellent. The overall plot worked, and there were a lot of good gags to be had. As a matter of fact, I nearly threw up when Sanjay and Craig were swimming in the Dixons pool. Poor, Dixons, can’t catch a break.

Lundgren Loner

Sanjay has to stay home by himself as his parents take Craig to the vet for an itchy asshole. Soon, he starts talking to the voices in his head which manifest themselves into full blown hallucinations. Thankfully, they go away when Craig gets home.

Our Take

The premise was fairly simple, Sanjay is insane. That’s what happened here. Sanjay just got himself A Beautiful-Minded what with the voices and hallucinations. I did find Craig’s ass-sickness hilarious as hell, but overall, a rather ordinary week of Sanjay.
