Review: Sanjay and Craig “Bike-o Psycho”

Sanjay and Craig find an abandoned bike in the woods, so after putting up flyers seeking the owner, the two decide to take it home and fix it up. Turns out, the bike is a fancy Glutte bike and the guys grow attached to their new found treasure. Eventually, the rightful owner of the bike aka Chida shows up in the form of a mean girl that just trashes the shit out of the bike with no dis regard. The damage gets so bad, that Sanjay and Craig decide to steal back the bike, but Chida stops them. The three decide to let the bike choose who should own it, but instead the bike decides to ride its own path.

Our Take

Sanjay and Craig is a show getting more and more creative as time goes on. The scene featuring the nose candy and even the short scene preceding it where the titular characters’ eyes were wrapped in the metal grating of the fence were fine points of art direction that definitely helps set the series apart from others. Throw in a rather entertaining premise, and the fact that the show seems to be more adventurous now than ever, and all of a sudden Sanjay and Craig can become a mainstay again of the Nick lineup.
