Review: Harvey Beaks “Randl’s Scandl”

Randl rents out his mother to Fee and Foo in exchange for an onion ring. Unfortunately, Randly doesn’t really want his mom back, but Fee and Foo doesn’t seem to mind the old lady. Randl ends up getting a new mom, which inspires Fee and Foo to do a mom-off with the winner getting Randl’s mom. Randl ends up firing his new mom before the results are read, and new mom heads off to hang out with Fee and Foo.

Our Take

You would think an episode without its titular character really being nothing more than a cameo could be risky, but the show has a cast of characters that is simply unmatched on Nickelodeon. Randl is my favorite character in the whole series, and while I could be biased due to my adoration of Marc Maron, I couldn’t help but fall out of my seat with everything spewing out of his mouth. Actually, his mother was very funny as well, and I think this was the first episode where we got to see THIS much of her. It works, and we’ve got proof that you don’t need Harvey in every Harvey Beaks episode.
