Review: Harvey Beaks “King of Pranks”
Spoilers Below
Harvey wants to be the King of Pranks, but his current material isn’t all that impressive. Because of this, Fee and Foo help Harvey craft the ULTIMATE prank with pretty much the whole forest. Unfortunately, it’s really just a prank based on a big lie, and when Harvey has to admit fault he feels terrible. To make amends, Harvey starts doing his own style of pranks which makes everyone feel a lot better.
Our Take
First of all, I much prefer the shorter episodes, so thanks to Nick for cutting in half the run-times. That said, Harvey Beaks is absolutely the heart of Nick’s lineup. Maybe not in terms of ratings just yet, but in terms of content. While Spongebob and Pig Goat bring shots of silly, Harvey Beaks is your chaser that goes down at your leisure. This week’s episode exemplified this by showcasing the fact that Harvey isn’t a prankster by any means, and that when he makes a wrong, the fun is seeing how he makes it right.
I would’ve like to have seen more contributions from the townsfolk, but overall this week’s Harvey does its job.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
