Kurt Vile Goes Animated in Trippy Video for “Life Like This”

Join rocker Kurt Vile in a trippy journey through his latest video, “Life Like This,” off his upcoming LP, B’lieve I’m Goin Down.

Directed and animated by Adam Avilla, the video features live action footage of Vile in a recording studio coupled with cartoon animals and splashes of vivid color that get injected into his life.

The new LP was produced by Rob Schnapf (Beck, Elliott Smith) and recorded in Brooklyn; Athens, Georgia; and Rancho de la Luna Studio in Joshua Tree National Park. It hits stores on September 25th.

Vile will be touring North America beginning October 2nd in Boston, including a stop at the Austin City Limits festival, followed by a European tour in November.
