Infographic Estimates The Simpsons’ Living Expenses
Ever wonder how blue collar Homer & stay-at-home Marge can afford their fancy house, two cars, and entertaining lifestyle? (Careful, the last one to express their curiosity on this subject ended up dead. RIP Grimey.)
Well, allow Fat Wallet to do the number-crunching for you. Not only did they estimate Homer’s salary, and the cost for the Simpson house, gas for Homer’s work commute, Burns’ mansion, and Grandpa’s retirement home, but they did it for a number of different Springfields around the country, for comparison’s sake. (Because we all know the real one is in Oregon, right?) They even included Homer’s yearly bar tab, the family’s grocery bill, and Apu’s 10-member family grocery cost.
