That Time Family Guy won at the Teen Choice Awards 2015

Just in case if you missed it at the Teen Choice Awards airing on FOX last weekend, Family Guy took home the surf board. I haven’t a clue if anyone at the show actually took the time to go to the awards ceremony, but anyone who was watching TV leading up to the awards show could have guessed the winner due to the fact that before the Teen Choice Awards aired there were back-to-back episodes of the hit animated series.

You know what’s odd? The ratings aren’t THAT great for the awards show, and really Family Guy reruns almost matched the number of viewers:

Fox opened with encores of “Family Guy” at 7 (0.6/3 in 18-49, 1.5 million viewers overall) and 7:30 (0.8/3 in 18-49, 1.9 million viewers overall), followed by the “2015 Teen Choice Awards” (0.8/3 in 18-49, 2.6 million viewers overall)

Family Guy returns with new episodes this Fall on FOX.
