Nerdist premieres ‘Skull of the Shogun’ animated web series

I miss the Skyrim shit that Nerdist used to do, but I guess this will have to suffice for now. Enter Skull of the Shogun, a new animated web series featuring John DiMaggio (Futurama) and series writer/director F. Ryan Naumann (Do’s and Don’ts). 

“On the battlefields of ancient Japan, the mighty General Akamoto stands ready to become Shogun on the eve of his greatest battle. Betrayed by a shadowy figure, he finds himself transported to the shores of the dead, where a ragtag misfit army is his only chance to break down the gates to the afterlife and gain the title of ‘Shogun of the Dead!’”

 

Guest stars including  Jessica Chobot (Nerdist News), Dan Casey (The Dan Cave), and Gary Anthony Williams (Batman: The Brave and the Bold) will be part of the series which premieres new episodes every Tuesday at 10 am PT only on Nerdist. Watch the first episode here.
