Watch: MC Lars Releases ‘Simpsons’ Tribute with “The Ballad of Hans Moleman”

I’m going to be honest, aside from some old school Snoop & Dre, I’m not much of a rap fan. (“With their hippin’ and-a hoppin’ & their bippin’ and-a boppin’…”) However, here’s one track I can get behind.

MC Lars (which I totally read as “McLars” initially, because I’m just that cool) has dropped “The Ballad of Hans Moleman” on the world, and it’s the perfect middle ground for rap fans and Simpsons fanatics.

The song is chock full of basically every bit of information available about one of Springfield’s most beloved senior citizens, and it’s all packaged together in a catchy tune with a fantastic clip show music video.

As a total square, I can’t speak too much about the quality of the music, but I know Simpsons fans like myself will be tickled pink (or yellow) over it.
