Trailer Breakdown: Family Guy 2015 Comic-Con

Family Guy used to be one of the best animated shows on TV. Nowadays, it’s a shell of its former self. We break down the Comic Con 2015 trailer to see if FOX’s biggest animated series has any gas left.

What we have to learn about the upcoming season of Family Guy is whether or not the show’s quality improves and Seth’s ace show is really the big boy on the block. It’s the ratings leader on Sunday Nights for FOX, but in terms of show quality, it’s nowhere near. Family Guy was largely absent from the Emmy noms, so we’ve gotta get this thing back to basics.

Last season, many thought that the return of Cleveland and his cast of characters from the cancelled ‘The Cleveland Show’ would spice things up a bit. Instead, this picture perfectly sums up about how much the Browns really contributed to the show’s appeal.Hopefully, that can change this season, because I want back a lot of characters from ‘The Cleveland Show’.

I’d like to see Seth MacFarlane (whom voices the above pictured Peter) take back some reigns on the production of ‘Family Guy’. The best seasons of this show are numbers four through maybe 10, and you can tell Seth’s movie commitments have negatively affected the quality of this series. Ever catch the credits to this show nowadays? Seriously, we have two commercials and we’re still getting through all of the executive producers. There’s a long-standing quote that holds true, too many cooks in the kitchen, and that’s precisely what irks Family Guy right now.

Quagmires pussy

Quagmire episodes are maybe my favorite. He’s so damn funny, and has a mythos that’s as deep and dark as anyone on the show.

Family Guy is all-new this Fall only on FOX.
