‘The Simpsons’ Accurately Predicted Greece’s Downfall Years Ago
In case you missed the top story of the weekend, a bunch of idiots blew off various limbs celebrating ‘Murica Greece is going down the tubes, and no one knows what to do about it.
Maybe somebody should ask The Simpsons – after all, they predicted it.
Following a trend of eerily, accurate predictions by the show (like here, here, here, and here – plus Family Guy too), the animated series aired an episode back in January of 2013 entitled “Politically Inept, with Homer Simpson,” which featured a CNN-like debate program and a scrolling headline ticker that read: “Europe puts Greece on eBay.”
Give another Nostradamus point to The Simpsons.
