BOX OFFICE UPDATE 7/6/15: Ted 2’s fall is faster than original
According to Deadline.com, Ted 2 has dropped to #5 in the box office with a 67% decline in ticket sales. Comparatively, the original Ted only dropped 41% in second week sales which means Ted 2 could be out on Blu-Ray and DVD before you know it. Here are the numbers:
Ted 2 (UNI), 3,448 theaters (+6)/ $4.5M Fri. / $2.8M Sat. (-36%) / $3.7M Sun. (+30%)/3-day cume: $11M (-67)/ Total cume: $58.3 /Wk 2
As I mentioned in the first week totals, I can’t imagine Ted 2 making anywhere NEAR the profit that the original made. As a result, don’t expect a Ted 3 (nor the fervor for one) to be announced anytime soon despite the fact that Sam Jones had spilled the beans on the proposed trilogy.

"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
