Duplass Brothers sign TV deal with HBO
Hot off the announcement of the two season pickup of their new animated series, Animals, Jay and Mark Duplass have launched a new TV production company called Duplass Brothers Television that will develop and produce content for HBO over the next two years after signing a deal with the network.
The deal means that HBO will have the exclusive opportunity to work with the Duplass Brothers whom seem to be impressed with the fact that not only will their content be available on HBO TV, but also the HBO Now subscription service.
As mentioned, Animals has been picked up for two seasons by HBO whom also hold global rights for the series. The series was produced by the Duplass Brothers and created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano. You can read our interview with the creators of Animals here.
