Watch: The Simpsons pay tribute to David Letterman on final show
It only made sense that legends would send off a legend, as David Letterman wrapped his final Late Show he was visited by the longest-running animated series of all time in a quick segment…take a look:
This isn’t the first-time that David and The Simpsons have laughed together. A little more than a year ago, David Letterman was on The Simpsons for a couch gag, and Homer did the Top Ten on an episode of Dave. It will be interesting to see if The Simpsons return to the Late Show when Stephen Colbert takes the reigns later this year.

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
