Review: Axe Cop ‘President Cop’

Spoilers Below

Axe Cop becomes President and tells everyone that a million years of peace is here for everyone on Earth. This causes Axe Cop to suffer from severe boredom, and even a day of presents really doesn’t help, but at least he’s invited to a Gorilla Island with Junior Cobb who tells him that the Evil Scientist has his love captured. We come to find out that Cobb was lying and it causes both him and the real Axe Cop to get their heads chopped off by a robot Axe Cop.

A million years go by and the robot Axe Cop heads to Earth getting ready to bring chaos along with Evil Scientist. Just as shit is about to get real, Evil Scientist finds a note on Flute Cop’s back from Axe Cop which tells him that Axe Cop has been alive for a million years with Junior (whom also learns that Evil Scientist killed his love) and that one of the presents he received was a pencil that allowed him to draw an Earth 2 and put all of the real people on there, replacing all of the Earth 1 people with robots that blow up after they stab themselves. Evil Scientist does just that, but the robot Flute Cop makes it over to Earth 1, and decides to fade into the sunset after he learns the truth about himself.

Our Take

Axe Cop is by far the best President we have ever had. I didn’t vote for him, but I will on the next election. Episodes like this are the reason why. For starters, it was good seeing Junior, and Al Molina was a fantastic Evil Scientist and I don’t know if anyone could have played him better. There was no HUGE fight scene, but watching Axe Cop’s literal ”Fuck You” unfold was a delight, and provided for two twist endings. The second one featuring ‘Flute Cop’ was rather hilarious given that we decided to fade to black on ‘Wrecking Ball’ by Miley Cyrus.
