Ratings Are In 5/18/15: FOX toons ok
FOX had a bunch of competition, so other than The Simpsons, all of the other animated programming were down a tad in their overnight ratings according to a new report from The Hollywood Reporter:
Bob’s Burgers aired its in two parts, with a respective 0.9 and 1.1 rating among adults 18-49, while The Simpsons (1.2 adults) held steady. Family Guy (1.3 adults) was down a respective two- and four-tenths of a point.
In two weeks the return of Golan the Insatiable is on tap, so it will be interesting to see if that show can be a strong showing for FOX. If the series does well, do NOT be surprised if FOX decides to add more original cartoons with it which could also be more business for FOX ADHD Studios.
That said, FOX’s cartoon finales means hasta la vista for Sunday Funday for a while, with new episodes set to premier probably late September, early October.
"There are also other characters that come and go (also owned by the Warner Bros. Discovery conglomerate media company)."
Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
