GTA V’s ‘Rockstar Editor’ could cause a BOOM in GTA V-Machinima
You may remember last year when Machinima had a series inspired by Grand Theft Auto IV called NPC. Welp, that was an awesome series, but since then Grand Theft Auto V released which I’m sure had people wondering if NPC or anyone else were going to start developing original programming inspired by the biggest selling game franchise of all-time.
Well, now Rockstar Games is going to make it easier for ya. That’s because a Rockstar Q&A revealed that the PC-only ‘Movie Editor’ tool will soon be tailored to work on both PS4 and Xbone consoles. Last gen consoles are probably not going to happen, but the increased support for the Movie Editor could cause a BOOM in GTA-inspired machinima content.
The PC version of Grand Theft Auto has only been out a couple of months, but I haven’t caught wind of any decent machinima to come from that (feel free to comment with suggestions), but I’m hoping the PS4/XBone audience can help out and start producing some quality content. Machinima just had their Upfront, and they didn’t mention the return of NPC which is fucking bullshit, perhaps someone else out there can answer the call?

Huh. Is that just referring to other characters from the show itself, or is this implying that the new season is going to have cameos from other WBD IPs
