Did The Simpsons call the FIFA scandal?

Honestly, who is really THAT surprised that FIFA was found to be the most corrupt sport on Earth? Sepp Blatter is a walking tumor of a human being, and the fact that there are scandals up and down the league including Qatar, the referees, and more is one of the reasons why I don’t watch that shit anyway. Don’t get me wrong, every sport is bull shit. Lebron James has flopped his way into another Conference Finals, Roger Goodell is a motherfucker, and MLB is still trying to get out of the steroid shadows of yesteryear. Put all this together, you’re better off watching something else.

But, did The Simpsons call this? A couple of seasons back, there was an episode that saw Homer become a ref due to the corruption of the officials, and he even called the Germany win. Watch a clip below, and note, this is just the latest of events in which The Simpsons have been spot on.
